Senior Linux Validation Engineer
Responsibility:
Successful candidate will be working on moblin project in SSG/SSD/Open Source Technology Center, responsible for validating the complete moblin open source stack on Atom based platforms Netbook, MID and IVI, areas including Linux Kernel, Drivers, Graphics, Security, Power Management, moblin foundation, such as clutter, GUPnP, PIM, Web Service, Bluetooth, Connecton Manager, gstream & helix framework, as well as moblin applications, media, browser, email etc. Main responsibility includes test plan writting, test case design, test development, automation, test execution, bug reporting and tracking. May also drive and lead small team to complete validation for particular project.
Qualification:
* BS/MS in Computer Science
* Expert in Linux user space development, GTK and programming language C, Shell, Python
* Expert in key technologies such as Graphics, Security, Power Management, Media, Communications (WiFI, WiMAX, Bluetooth…)
* Familiar with Linux kernel and driver development
* Expert in Linux tools (revision control tool git, bugzilla...) and Linux automation
* Expert in software validation methodologies, process, experience in open source validation is a plus
* 1+ project management experience is a plus
* Knowledge and experience in Intel hardware architecture
* Excellent English communication skills
* Good Team work and self-motivated
